The Technical Information

The chemicals we use to disinfect are called PX-formulations.

The PX-formulations have demonstrated virucidal activity relevant to envelope viruses which includes Coronavirus. Coronaviruses are enveloped viruses with a positive-sense single-stranded RNA genome.  The PX-formulations have been tested against Adenovirus and Murine norovirus in accordance with EN14476, the European Standard for demonstrating virucidal activity of a disinfectant, against the enveloped Vaccinia virus. According to EN14476:2013 + A2:2019, testing the efficacy of a disinfectant against Adenovirus and Murine norovirus allows the product to claim efficacy against enveloped viruses including Coronavirus, influenza virus, Hepatitis B and C and Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)
